The two make their way towards the tower, on an adventure to save their world.Īs they climb the tower, Link and Zelda meet many new allies and adventurers that have been trapped inside the tower, alongside dangerous beasts that guard it from intruders. She decides that Link will need to climb the Tower of Fates in order to reach her, and teams up with him, as climbing the tower won’t be an easy task. Thanking Link, Zelda realizes the power that Vathis holds. Now knowing Link’s power, the sorceress runs off, leaving behind Zelda, but telling Link that she has not been defeated. Noticing Link, Vathis stares him down, before trapping him in a field of magic and challenging him to a fight. Guards attempt to grab back the princess, but the sorceress unleashes a blast that turns them all to stone. Storming the castle, we see Vathis, holding Zelda in a forcefield. Awakened by the sound of thunder, Link makes his way towards the castle, seeing that many of the people have been turned into stone. With her father turned to stone, she asks that Link come to Hyrule Castle, as she fears something is coming for her. In his dreams, he gets a telepathic message from Princess Zelda, informing him that she and Hyrule are in grave danger. Link, the descendant of a legendary hero, not knowing of the chaos, is seen sleeping in his house. Many saw the large tower and sought to climb it, defeating the source, but none could make it all the way to the top with the traps and monsters that guard it. The entire kingdom had fallen into disarray. Using her magical powers, Vathiz rained thunder from the sky, striking people all across Hyrule, stealing their life force and turning them into stone. The massive tower pierced the sky, covering it a dark purple mist. A massive tower grow on the mountain's location, the legendary Tower of Fates. With nothing to lose, Vathiz took the deal, transforming into a powerful sorcereress. Seal away for terrorizing the land long ago, the spirit makes a deal with the girl, granting her ultimate power in exchange of feeding him life force in order to regain his power.
Upon touching it, she released a dangerous spirit, simply known as Bayl. One day, when the girl had given up, she climbed the tallest peak in Hyrule, only to find a mysterious stone. No matter where she went, Vathiz was never able to find people who would accept her, causing a darkness grow within her heart. Born with dangerous magical powers, she was driven away from her home when the villagers discovered them, fearing that she could cause incredible destruction. The opening tells the story of a girl named Vathiz.
